Sirumoni Doley (Oct  23, 1993)  and Kanhaya Thakur (March 01, 1992) from Kamrup, Assam, have created a record by making longest selfie stick out of bamboo which measures length of 9.5 mtr and breadth of 0.31 mtr. It can be used to capture picture using any cell phone and it has folding and unfolding mechanism. The same was exhibited at Sonapur Higher Secondary School, Sonapur, Kamrup, Assam on 29th July 2017.
